Technical Questions
Please send WAV or AIFF files at 24-bit/48kHz or higher. All stems should start from the same point (bar 1, beat 1) and be clearly labeled. Include a rough mix for reference and any notes about the sound you are going for.
Our primary DAWs are Pro Tools (industry standard for recording and mixing), Logic Pro X, and Ableton Live. We can also open sessions from FL Studio, Studio One, and Cubase. Let us know your preferred format when booking.
Yes, we provide vinyl pre-masters that account for the specific requirements of vinyl cutting — including frequency management, stereo width control, and appropriate loudness levels. We work with pressing plants internationally.
We record and mix at 48kHz/24-bit as standard. We can accommodate 96kHz sessions for high-resolution projects. All masters are delivered in multiple formats including high-res, CD quality, and streaming-optimized versions.
Our systems support up to 192 tracks simultaneously. For live band recording, we have 64 inputs available through our main console and outboard preamps. We regularly handle sessions with 40-80 tracks.
Yes, stem mastering gives us more control over the final sound. Instead of mastering a single stereo mix, you send 4-8 grouped stems (drums, bass, vocals, instruments, etc.) and we process each group before the final master. This is ideal for complex mixes.
Our main monitors are Adam Audio S3V with dual SVS subwoofers, calibrated with Sonarworks. We also check mixes on Yamaha NS-10s, Auratones, and consumer-grade speakers to ensure translation across all playback systems.
